Yeah, when I got my car is was analog to digital. I got a lifetime warranty so all the expensive bits will always be covered :)

I can't remember Bill was your car new or second hand ? Ours was first registered in September 2012 and it belonged to a female, it just had the one owner till Trade Centre got it then us.

Right, yes you would be able to get that with a new car. Ours comes with a 3 year warranty from the RAC plus the break down cover but of course additional keys aren't covered.

I take it you are still enjoying yours Bill ?

Oh yes, been a month or rainy weekends, so tomorrow I am washing it, rain or shine :)

Ooh nice car Joan did it not come with a spare key? I still don't know what half the buttons do on our car, as long as I press it and it goes I'm fine! Lol! John messes with the buttons on ours all the time especially the high beam which apparently is supposed to come on and off when the car thinks it needs it. The only problem is me and the car have a difference of opinion on dark nights and country roads and then John gets an ear bashing for it not letting me sort it manually! If you want a job doing and all that! :p

Lovely weather today, it's practically summer for ten minutes and it's been nice getting a little fresh air. We've recently cut the laurels back in the garden and now chopped them into manageable piles before they go in the skip! I'm soooo not looking forward to transferring the MASSIVE, did I emphasise MASSIVE piles of leaves and sticks that have to go into the skip!

@ Bill, seriously did you say Rain?....rain and Bill in the same sentence, what is the world coming too! :D

No it didn't come with a spare Angie, mind you we've got the name and address of the previous owner and I'm thinking of seeing if I can get in touch to find out if she still has the spare.

Luckily my John doesn't do any night driving, he can if he has too, so we went out side last night when it was getting dark so he could sort out the position of the switches etc. just in case he does have to go out in the dark.

The last couple of days here have been more like sunny spring days but today it's back to the norm, grey cold and it started raining at teatime. :(

Not been able to get outside to start any gardening work yet, my wheelie garden bin service started again at the end of February but I've not used it yet, it's due to go out again tomorrow but it's still empty. :D
The first time it should have gone out the man came looking for it but I told him where it would be when it needed emptying, I have a doorstep collection for my refuse so don't have to take it down to the kerb just leave it by the kitchen door.

Good luck with your mountain of leaves, hope you manage to sort them all out.

Yeah I would, especially due to the cost. That's the problem with coded keys nowadays, you cannot just get them cut you have to send off for them.

That's good sense to go out and get the car set up in the dark in the event he ever needs to use it.

As for the leaves, crikey jove, I ache, and my brain hurts at the mere thought of just remembering how may there were. Yes I can finally say that after 3 days of cutting, stacking in piles (large branches, medium branches and leaf branches) we have finally mulched up half of the leaves and skipped all of it.

It was hard work but I must admit the garden looks much better for it although we still have a lot more to go. We still need to scrape down all the embankment and then we are looking to research a lot of plant for summer and winter so that the garden doesn't end up a boring green blob. Ideally I would like colour all year round so before we plant anything it would be good to work out what we can have and then work out a colour scheme.

I hope you guys are having a lovely Easter. :babychick:

Well it's turned out yucky now and the wind is blowing hard, it's cold and it's raining. :scream:

The new neighbours turned up Friday to start work on the house next door. He comes from Pembroke but lives in England, his mother still lives in Pembroke and he's staying with her when he's down, there were 3 kids and a dog, I'm not sure if they're his or not as his sister was there as well, but apparently he's got it as a holiday home but I'm not sure whether it's just for him and his family or to be let out. :dizzy:

He is going to be sorting the trees out between us, the surveyor had told him they needed to be either cut down or made shorter, they are mainly fir trees apart from the ash tree that is between the electricity wires that feed me and the bungalow behind me.:scream:

It's been dry and windy for us today, the wind is very bitter though, it gave me a head chill before and my hood kept blowing off.

I must admit I had to re-read about the neighbour to work out who was who lol. Maybe the family will use it as a holiday home and let it out that way they get dual usage out of it. That's good that he is going to sort the trees out between you. Oh dear tell him to be careful nearly the Ash Tree we don't want any incidents! Crikey how big have they gotten?

That's the thing with trees once left to grow on their own they grow enormous, the laurels we have just cut were really tall and thick. I didn't want to cut them back as far as we did but they haven't been maintained and had grown out 5ft too far to find the light and were starting to encroach on the garden path. The birds were not happy when we took them down but we are going to put lots of nice things back and get some proper feeders for them around the garden when we have finished so hopefully that will make up for it. We did leave them some taller higher up Laurels and I have finally got rid of that plastic bag that has been blowing in the wind since we got here.

I must confess that when we were removing the greenery Mother Nature didn't take it lying down. I got scratched to death by the Holly leaves, got smacked across the eyes by the bamboo and got hit on the head from falling branches. The only thing I was waiting for was a scene from a horror movie where the birds attack! Luckily they didn't but I do think they were very cross with all the loud chirping going back and forth.

Well the trees tower above the roof of our bungalow and the ash tree is higher than the fir trees, the roots are coming up in our lawn and not just close to the trees one of them is quite near to our place so not good, plus they block out the light so it makes it feel very hemmed in as the back garden is not very big.

The husband is requesting tele time now so I shall speak to you tomorrow...enjoy your eggs! :D

Didn't have any eggs, well not the chocolate ones, but I've just enjoyed a couple of Tesco toffee cream meringues. :yum::yum:

I wouldn't say I was a big fan, think it's the first time I've played anything by them but I enjoyed listening to them.

When it comes to music I have a very wide range of things I like to listen to from easy listening to heavy rock.
