Back to the future day today! Yes we made it to 21 October 2015, we're not on the hover cars yet but they weren't far out on the 3D stuff. Absolutely love the films!

Love the shark! :D

Saw a useful tip today, I expect you know this one Angie, watching Mary Berry this morning and she was showing you how to get perfect sized cupcake mixture into the cases.

Using an ice-cream scoop, the sort that has the lever to push the ice-cream out, fill with mixture and pull up the side of the bowl so it levels the top then just activate the lever so it drops the mixture into the case, doing this and you'll have uniform sized cupcakes every-time.

Lost my trainee Thursday. He is an inventor, and we had language in our discloser agreement that he couldn't work with, and we would have had to get lawyers to change. So...back to square one on getting me back out of the field :(

Oh dear that doesn't sound great Bill, lets hope they find you another trainee quick that can work within the discloser agreement.

We will never find another employee that would have an issue with that. My luck they find a qualified applicant, and he is an inventor. Sheesh...

Aww Bill, I know it isn't any consolation but it must be a little good that they cannot replace you that easily, it shows that you are a great worker. Unfortunately now you will have to cruise round in your new van with air con for the interim until they find a worthy replacement. ;)

@ Joan, yes that's the way I do my cupcakes all the time especially with running the courses as it ensures that each student gets even cupcakes. I have the metal scoop that drops them out, I wrote it as a tip a while ago Ice Cream Scoop.

Told you you'd know about it. :D I'd not seen the tip before and thought it was a really good idea, not that I do any baking now.

Hope you're having a good time on holiday.;)

Looks yummy Bill, I've got a gorgeous cream and chocolate meringue for after dinner tonight.:D

I've just bought some baking chocolate and small apples so I'm hopefully going to make some chocolate apples for bonfire night.

Joan I meant to ask you how's the new kindle doing?
It's OK Angie, mind you I've not done too much with it, had some library audio books on it tried the camera a few times but that's it, oh nearly forgot used an app I have on it to list all my Interchangeable knitting needles, haven't even started on my straights.

We've had quite a few viewings for the property, got another 2 on Friday 1 on Saturday and another next Friday, already had ½ a dozen.

At least it means John's having to hoover a bit more than usual. :p

Lol! It's nice to know that they are written in male too, most household appliances are written in woman in this house.

I hope it's a good camera, I don't actually rate my iPad one my pictures always seem a little fuzzy, my phone ones are really sharp except I'm having probs transferring them onto my pc at the mo as I've just done an update on my phone.

So you're having lots of visitors at the moment then, I suppose that's a good thing that people are interested in the properties although not good for you because you've got to prep the house every two minutes. Have they given you any more info or any indication on how things are progressing?

 am slightly confused, is it a bit like excel where you can list all your items? How many knitting needles do you have? I bet you have a cupboard filled with lots of wool goodies don't you? :p

The app is called Knitting Buddy and it's got lots of elements to it, you can use it as a row counter it gives you knitting charts, conversions for most things knitting or crochet. It lists all the abbreviations you could need, in fact there is more to it than I can list here.
It is free but shows adverts at the top, you can pay to upgrade which is about £10 for a lifetime license which takes the adverts away and gives you a few more features.

We've had 6 couples to look so far and there are 4 more coming tomorrow then another pair next Friday. As for prepping the house, no this is a home not a show house and as long as it's reasonably clean and tidy, I mean 3 of the 4 bedrooms are more store rooms than anything, well 2 are offices and 1 is a dining room plus storage. There's no storage in this place, you've got an airing cupboard and a small broom cupboard. :D Don't know if you're interested but here's a link to the lot, if it works. ;)

Yes the link works, I've just had a look at it, wow I cannot believe the price for one and the size of it for two. It's lovely Joan, I did happen to see you buy in bulk, especially the Pringles ooh and the Celebrations, Heroes and Roses are you stocking up for Christmas? That is a lot of people viewing and I am pleased that it states there is a sitting tenant too. Hopefully someone will buy the properties soon and things will hopefully get back to normality for you. It would drive me bonkers having people look round every two minutes, however, on the upside you have lots of interest in it.

Your knitting buddy app sounds fabulous, I'm sure it is useful to both newbies and knitting masters like yourself. I sounds like a real handy tool to have. I don't knit but you've just reminded me my friend does so I'll ask her if she has it.

My brain hurts today, I've been studying for most of it as I have currently just renewed my food hygiene certificate. A few things have changed since I last did it but at least it has been done again now for another 3 years, whoop whoop. I've still got a week left on my old certificate but am trying to get everything done as I'll be juggling jobs again over the next few weeks so I can meet all my deadlines.
