Missing Han at the moment as she is on her jollies with the grandparents....ooh it's oh so quiet without her.

Lol yes that's true, I went to see the specialist today about my foot. I've found out that I'm literally a wonky donkey. According to the lady I have one leg shorter than the other which is also playing havoc with me. The joys of getting older. [emoji23]

:DWelcome to the club. :eyeroll:

Not the best day today, they've taken John into hospital tonight. He had a turn just after dinner but this time it took a bit longer for him to come round and it's the 4th one he's had in the last 10 days.
It started a week last Thursday, he'd started building new guinea pigs cages and it was a warm day, I went outside and he was sitting on the floor with his back at the fence and the bungalow one side and the frame work of the new cages the other, he was awake and didn't know how he'd got there but we assumed he'd passed out because of the warm day and not drinking enough water.

He was OK then till last Thursday evening, he'd gone out to put a tarpaulin away, I looked up and saw him standing outside and suddenly he fell forward as if he'd been pole axed. I went straight outside and he was awake just needed to get up, then on the Friday morning he'd gone into my office to the main phone to make a call to the timber merchant. I heard a noise went down and he was sitting on the floor propped up against my chair and the phone was hanging down. Again he was awake but this time he said he had a sore bum and a sore side so thought he'd probably bruised his ribs.

The one tonight was after dinner and he was sitting down on the couch when it happened, I'd phoned the doctors earlier today and he had an appointment for tomorrow, phoned the out of hours doctor and it was the nurse at the hospital I spoke too she wanted him to go there to be checked out so had to phone Kelly's hubby. He came over and didn't like the look of him so we phoned 999, they came out did a load of checks, of course by then you wouldn't think that there was anything that wrong with him but as they couldn't say what was causing them wanted to take him to be checked out.

So here I am on my own wondering if I'd get any sleep if I went to bed or whether I should just alter my chair and stay here, Kelly said I should go to bed and make the most of having it all to myself, I'll shut my computer off and see what happens.

I'll update you tomorrow. :anguished:

Oh my Joan, is he OK? Are you? Sorry, I never got on yesterday, huge headache. I sure hope you both are OK

Hi Bill your headache must be catching I've got one as well. I phoned the hospital this morning but it was too early for them to give me any information so I was going to phone later. Before I did John phoned me, he's been wired up had bloods taken different tests done and a brain scan.

So far the doctors think it's age related and a possible leaky valve or heart murmur. They are going to put him on beta blockers along with his other meds and he said they are just waiting for another result from the scan and they can send him home. I've got to wait now till he phones me back so I can sort out getting him back home.

How are you now ?

I'm OK now. Send my best to John, he'll wonder who the heck I am :D I wish him the best

Oh he knows who you are Bill, :) he came home yesterday late afternoon, Thursday, it was a nightmare they first told him he was coming home then later said he wasn't then he could :dizzy:. A bit later they then said no they wanted him upstairs on the cardiac ward for more tests, by then the big boss doctor was on the scene and he had a go at them and told them he could come home, at one point this doctor was sitting on Johns bed going through what was happening to him, couldn't get the app he wanted to work so complained about modern technology and went to get a pencil and paper then sat back on the bed and draw a picture of Johns heart to show him where the problems were, they had quite a chat. :)

They've taken him off 2 of his tablets and given him a new one but haven't bothered to give him beta blockers. He has to see this doctor in 4 months time and he'll have to go to this clinic they have. They've advised him to not drive for the foreseeable future so he's just done a SORN on the car and having to start sorting out getting the food for the guinea pigs elsewhere where they can deliver.

I've printed off the forms for him to apply for a bus pass so at least that will save some money as it's not cheap to travel round here via bus and he wouldn't be able to carry that much anyway.

As for me I'm just becoming a wreck what with worry and doing what I'm not supposed to I'll be glad when things are settled down. :eyeroll:

Well being home cures a lot. I hope he continues to be well, and you can worry a little less

Thanks Bill, don't know about worry less I'm worrying more wondering when or if there is going to be another pass out. :anguished:
