Well, when Kelly moved out we decided to use it as a dining room instead of eating from trays on our knees in the living room. It was also used as a store room for the dry food for the birds/badgers/cats and guinea pigs plus a step ladder and my Dyson. I had 2 under counter sized freezers in there as well, we had a small 2 seater table and chairs and a small computer desk.
The different food was kept in containers on top of the desk and some boxes, well it was a tip, especially as John is not the tidiest person and he spills food all over the floor when he goes to get it to feed and doesn't bother to clean it up.
Well he'd bought himself a strong trestle table for his office to put his computers and printer on instead of different sized desks and also shelving for around the walls. He decided to get another table but not as long for the dining room, it's 6ft whereas his was 8ft and fit along one wall, this one had to be smaller because of the radiator on the other wall.
I've taken the desk into my office, I'll put the shredders on that, and have the containers on the table with large storage boxes underneath that hold the bulk of the feed and it looks so much cleaner. Oh yes I also have a 3 tier trolley in there that holds a lot of haberdashery stuff and an Aspidistra.
The room is about 10' by 8' and I'm surprised we've managed to get so much into it but needs must when you have no storage space or garage to put things.
