No, I won't see them, which is a good job in some ways as her hubby has a chest infection and Connor has come down with it as well so as I'm still waiting for my flu vaccine I don't want any germs bringing in here.I'm glad you've had a chilled day and a catch up with your son. Will the grandkids be coming to see you at some point?
Chill day today, we're supposed to making some models, but Han's not out of bed yet, and we've been saying we'll do it for three days. I'll post some pics if we ever manage to make them.
Hopefully it's stopped raining so I can go out and finish putting the rubbish in place ready for collecting tomorrow, be back soon.
Oh no, I hope she feels better soon! Fingers crossed for tomorrow for you. 
Oh, my word is anybody's Christmas going to plan? I think because everyone is on a little wind down the germs jump in and start taking over! Seriously, Joan, you've not had your flu jab yet? John had his a couple of months ago. Have you been waiting for it?
Nipped out to the shops today for a few bits but other than writing a tutorial I've nothing else to report.

I can't take a flu shot, I one of those who get the flu after getting one.
Just like I got the measles three times and the mumps twice.

My John had his a couple of months ago as well but as I have to have the nurses come out to do mine I'm still waiting.
Even though John's been having his for years because of his health symptoms I've only been having the shot for the last 1 or 2 years, but as John mixes with the grandchildren so much now there is more chance of him carrying germs home than before, don't think I could manage a bout of flu.
Bubble wrap it will keep her cosy and entertained at the same time.

Well, I've just pulled out my new calendar for the kitchen and discovered it starts on a Sunday which really throws me so I've got to go out and buy a new one. I tried filling it in with what's on my phone but my phone starts on a Monday so I'm writing things on the wrong days.
I've also got a thought for the day calendar so they'll be plenty of thoughts this year, however, because I've posted a New Year one today I cannot post the thought so I'll post it here just this once. Well, it is my site. Chaos often breeds life when order breeds habit - Henry Brooks Adams.

As you said it is your site so you're allowed to break your own rules.
Our calendars start on a Monday and it threw me at first as they used to start on a Sunday, this is the second year they have.
We get ours from the people we buy our oil from. They are lovely calendars with the top half of each month being a photograph of a different part of the UK countryside and the lower half being the number boxes with enough room to write a small note in each.

Alice made cake squares, basically baked a cake diced into 1 inch squares, covered them
with whipped cream, sprinkled coconut on them then put them in the freezer
for about twenty minutes to harden.one normal size cake makes almost 50 of them.

That's what I have in the kitchen, it's either a Me to You Bear calendar or a Boofle calendar. But this years started with Sunday so at a quick glance when I look at it I think Tuesday is Wednesday and it totally throws me. I did manage to get one yesterday so it's filled in and put up now. I also need the boxes to fill in everyone's timetable.
