This week Hannah and I have been to the Shaun the Sheep Championsheeps  it was a mock games set up at the Lowry Hannah became a BBC weather person. We have also watched the Smurfs 2 and done lots of swimming and keep fit. My arm is still sore but we managed to do everything ok.

This week I have been busy studying and attending a PTLLS course run and supplied by Graham
at Maxam Training Ltd.

All I can say is that I have had one of the best weeks of my life EVER!

Although we have had a lot to learn, we have had lots of laughs along the way and great fun whilst doing it.

I managed to get a picture of our last day together, unfortunately Shaun missed the last lesson so isn't in the photo.

Here is our group: Adam, Taff, Gary, Erick, Alan, Graham, Barry, Amanda and me!

Thanks guys for a fantastic week you ROCK!

Ooh Bill sounds fab enjoy it.

Joan how did all the partying go?

After my hectic week I'm actually having a little family and friends time this weekend. :D Although it hasn't started too well. I've just watched a movie off Sky with Hannah and five minutes before the end the film shuts off and says end of programme! Not happy. :(

Angie the weekend was brilliant and it was wonderful having my eldest son and grandson down for a few days. The Saturday barbeque was good and the weather was good for it. Here's my eldest son youngest daughter and all my grandsons with me at the party.

Thanks Joan. :D

That's a lovely family pic and I'm so pleased that you had a great time, your smile says it all.

Today I took Hannah shopping for her school uniforms and coat. I understand the whole fashion element but selling winter type coats with no hood is a bit of a design flaw in my book! It did cost a small fortune but we did have enough left for a spot of tea, although I did forget her pumps so I need to add that to the things to do list!

I agree Angie, I wont buy a coat unless it has a hood, especially around here umbrellas I think are useless far too easy to blow inside out, plus a bit hard to hold if you've got a walking stick and shopping. :p

Uniforms these days are a terrible price, my daughter now has that problem twice over for her boys. The best part is that in the infants school it's not compulsory to wear one but of course all the others do so you feel obliged to put yours in uniform.

It rains near us lots too and trying to carry an umbrella along with the school bags is a nightmare. I did manage to find her some in the end though. I know it's expensive that's why I'm glad we just have the one, I dread to think how much it costs for 2 or more. Probably an arm and a leg!

We still have a few bits to go but we have the main stuff so not bad.

She grows so quickly though and her shoes don't last five mins! LOL!

 Oh yes shoes, her boys get through them like nobody's business. Well you've got a 5 year old and a 4 year old, well he will be 4 on Halloween, he moves to mornings when he goes back.

In some ways though it can be a bit easier as some things can be passed down but it depends how worn out they are, it's still expensive though as everything has to have the school name and emblem on and be a certain colour.

It does mean the youngest misses out a bit on new stuff as he gets the hand me downs and the eldest gets the new things.

Just like the good old days, I didn't always get new stuff but Hannah is very lucky in that respect. I always like to ensure that she looks smart for school but even some of the name brand shoes look worn out after the first few weeks. We tried her new uniform on the other day and even though its a little big I know by the end of the year she will be grown out of it.

I cannot believe how fast the school years are flying by!

LOL! Loved that Bill, although how on earth no-one's hair caught fire in that vid is beyond me! ;)

Today I am taking inspiration from my new friend!

You and me both Bill, :D I'm busy getting used to my new glasses today we both went to pick our new ones up today.

John has a pair for reading and a pair for everyday and driving use, he's just trying to sort out how often he's got to change them, we did have a laugh though when he was cutting some cheese for a sandwich and it wasn't straight. He reckoned he needed another pair to cut cheese, mind you I did tell him he couldn't cut it straight anyway regardless of which glasses he had on.
