I have my feet up at the moment trying to rest my back. I pulled it out of place this morning and it's not looking very good at the moment. :( On the plus side I can still type so I can still work. ;)

I am wondering though how Joan is getting on with all the Christmas goodies she's making for the family? Have you got any finished yet and are you allowed to show us? :D

Hope your back is better, Angie and that you're ok for teaching tomorrow night!

At the moment Sue no , I've just put a thermacare heat belt on to try and soothe it but it needs to go back into alignment. If I don't go back into shape I won't be coming tomorrow. :(

Sorry to hear you're still suffering. Rest and heat are the best things but not always practical in today's busy world! We'll really miss you if you can't make tomorrow so take it easy and hopefully you'll be 'back' to normal soon. Sorry for the pun ;)

Thanks Sue, I did find you description funny lol! I hope to be ship shape and back in no time, I just have to tell my back that. I can leave this thermacare thing on for eight hours so hopefully it may do some good. Here's hoping! :D

John has some medicinal liquid that won't help, but you won't care :) Hope you feel better soon, a bad back is no fun. A Guy

I can't use that Bill it's for my Christmas cakes. ;) I am doing a lot of stretching though so I'm hoping that will put me back into shape.

Today my bathroom finally has tiles on each wall and John has ordered me an early Christmas present......a back massager! :dinesh:

My hubby bought me an electrical back massager cushion 2/3 years ago. I thought it amazing that he should think of such a useful surprise gift (as I have chronic back and neck flare-ups from time to time) and then Cath told me that she'd suggested it to him, ha ha! I still use it and although it doesn't take the pain away, the heat is so comforting, defers the pain and you can have guilt-free 'lazy' time on the settee under the heading 'therapy'. Go for it and enjoy :thumbs::thumbs:

Enjoy the massager Angie, I have one my daughter got me a few years ago, although it doesn't really help in my case. :(

Glad to hear you have tiles on the walls, things are so much easier when the walls are tiled, it's easier to keep them clean for a start. ;)

Sue: Aww brownie points for the husband and very nice of Cath too, sometimes then need pointing in the right direction. I did ask for one a few years ago but that went in one ear and out the other until now when I'm stiff as a board and then I request one again! Lol! ;) Note to self make a Santa list and leave on hubbies desk! :p

I thought John was your back massager? :D

A Guy
Bill: Nope never gonna happen, the only thing he massages is the keyboard and mouse.

Joan: I've not used it yet it's still boxed up because everything is everywhere in the house at the moment and my house isn't my own so I haven't even got time to find a place to use it yet.

And as for the tiles, they are now floor to ceiling whoohoo! :dinesh:

I have finally finished prepping for tomorrow's Christmas workshop and I'm feeling very festive! I'd better get some sleep though as it will be all systems go tomorrow and bake bake bake with final preparations. :dinesh:

Today started off very well with bed changing and washing and even hung it out on the line outside as there's still a bit of heat in the sun. Anyway, it's worth a try as it's so difficult drying clothes and laundry inside now as there's nowhere to put it all! Then on to preparing fondant for Wednesday's Christmas cake decorating class. Stopped for lunch 2 hours ago and still sat on the settee in a lovely warm room with Tom the cat on my lap. Neither of us want to move! I'll just have 5 more minutes I think .......... :sleepy:

Thanks Joan....

Sue, sounds like heaven!

Well everything is baked, rolled and packed ready to go now just got my final packing to do before tonight's lesson. Thermacare wrap on and here we go! ;)

LOL! Cheers Bill..my knee is playing up today though too. We had a great lesson but I can't do the write up yet as I have workmen all round the house! The end is in sight though so I'm looking forward to being workmen free! Then I can get in my creative mode and do the write up! ;)

One man down one man to go.....FREEDOM...very very soon albeit very short lived! Lol! :dinesh:
