Salt's a great healer, so if nothing else, it may help soothe or help with the swelling while the antibiotics work on the inside. I'm glad postie thinks the swelling is abating. Ooh, posh word for me. I just hope I've used it in the right context, lol, because I haven't had much sleep at all last night. 🤣

Aww, that's nice that you've received letters about the donations. Will you keep them somewhere?
You're OK you used alright. I will be keeping them, I've kept everything so far that is connected to Johns death and it will be kept all together in my filing cabinet.

I was told around 12 weeks for the next one and they would be in touch to book it nearer the time, the data coming out of Isreal is saying that one dose of pfizer is 85% effective after 3 weeks so I'm happy with that.

I saw online today that it didn't have to be kept so cold now so that should make things easier for storage and where they can take it.

Because of your health history? Good no matter what

Yeah, they are doing 65+ and anybody between 18-65 with any underlying health conditions which is my category, they will probably move on to all over 50's by the end of the month and then everybody else.

They are just on 65 plus here. They will add the 8-64 with underlying soon. My health car provider has about 1/4 the people in the state, and they just had their quota increased, but maybe a month or more before they get to me

They seem to be progressing well getting it out there which is a good thing, the sooner everyone has the first dose the sooner we can get on top of this one. I don't think we'll see the end of it though and I think it's going to be one of those things we have to have yearly, like the flu jab.

That cake looks good Bill. 😋

The weather has delayed about 6 million doses it seems. Hopefully they will be working double time to catch up

That's fabulous, Steve; you're the only person I know who's had both of them. 🙂
And me, perhaps he didn't have to wait as long as we have to here. When we first started to hear about the vaccine the wait was going to be 2 weeks but then that go put back to 11/12 weeks now.

As far as I know, we are the only ones pushing the second jab to 12 weeks; it was a gamble when first announced to protect more people with the limited supply we have, but the data coming in from real-life science is now vindicating the move.
