Here is your guide on how to make Viennese Whirls:

Ingredients:-
150g or 6oz Softened Butter
150g or 6oz Plain flour
40g or 1½oz Icing Sugar
1 Teaspoon Almond Essence

1. Pre heat Oven to 190°C/Gas Mark 5/375F
2. Whisk Butter and sieved icing sugar together, then add the flour and essence, whisk until all combined.
3. Spoon the mixture into a large piping bag that has been fitted with the nozzle of your choosing.
4. Pipe mixture into swirls on a greased baking tray.
5. Place in the middle of the oven and bake for approx 30 mins.
6. Once baked remove from oven and place on a wire rack to cool.
7. Fill will cream and jam.
8. Devour! :D
