Tiramisu á la Kari (1 Viewer)

My own Plan B Tiramisu recipe, created in a hurry one late Saturday evening when the real one fell on floor when putting in to fridge for overnight. Had promised Tiramisu to Sunday brunch visitors, could not get the real biscuits but had other ingredients at home, so decided to try Digestives.

You need:

- 340 gram (12 ounces) any non-flavored fresh cheese (Mascarpone works best)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla sugar
- 3/4 deciliter (2.5 fluid ounces) sugar
- 2.5 deciliter (8.5 fluid ounces) cream
- grated peel of one lemon (My English! Is that understandable?)
- some cacao powder
- Digestive biscuits

Mix cheese, sugar and vanilla sugar well. Add cream, mix, add lemon peel. Pour over the biscuit base and put in fridge for at least a few hours. Cover with cocoa powder before serving.

Found only one, from last Easter. Willow and flower on table are typical Finnish Easter table decorations.
