Unlike my near neighbour Julian (aka Boohbah) I don't have a feminine side, well not that you'd notice unless you saw me on a Saturday night but i do get involved in the cookery dept. at mon repos. My wife had a stroke last year and it took about 12 months to really begin to get over it but just at that time, last September in fact, she had a fall and broke her hip so I have been I/C domestics since. We both like fruit cake but said wife has slight diabetes so I found a recipe for a fruit cake that is sugar free. It also uses Olive Spread as the fat content so is very healthy! Ugh!!! I hear you say but the few people who have sampled the cake really cannot believe it is sans sugar. Would you like me to share the recipe. I assume it would go in the "What have you baked" Forum?
