Chocolate Torte - Worsley College - Manchester (1 Viewer)

You will be taught tips and techniques on how to create a sumptuous chocolate torte. Once baked, you can then relax whilst we give you demonstrations and ideas on how to finalise your overall cake design. Rest assured you will take home a beautiful cake at the end of the evening. :)

Students are required to bring in the following items:

CHOCOLATE TORTE: -
Base
75g/3oz Icing sugar
115g/41/2oz Butter – softened
200g/8oz Plain flour
25g/1oz Cocoa
1 egg

Filling
500ml/Pint whipping or double cream – heat
300g Milk choc
25g/1oz butter
1 sheet Leaf Gelatin

Top
200ml Double Cream
25g/1oz Butter
125/5oz Dark choc

250g Icing/Fondant
