This was the cake I made for my friend's little boy. It is a sponge cake filled with jam and buttercream and then covered with icing. I then indented the icing with a shell tool to create the border on the board. To make the blue and white border surrounding the cake, I rolled up small balls of icing and squashed them up against the edges of the cake. The name was cut out using letter cutters, and the baby was made using a face mould and then drawn on using an edible pen.
