banana bread

I was recently having a conversation with a friend about Banana Bread, and he asked the question as to whether you can toast it. Now personally, after making the loaf, I can go through half of it just taste testing it before you'd even get it near a toaster but in answer to his question, yes...

So I baked a banana bread on Monday with mashed bananas but the recipe also said sliced bananas so I included those also however after cooking the sliced bananas have gone green... I am quite sure it was not like this until the day after but not 100% - what have I done wrong?!
