This is a birthday cake I put together for my daughter's 9th birthday back in the beginning of January. A Victoria sponge cake bought from Tesco, then I made some butter icing, and then moulded a cat from some black shaping icing (or whatever its called). I used some sprinkles for the eyes.

Hello Cake Bosses! Whenever I try to bake a cake, I always seem to tinge/burn the sides and base. I've tried to tell the kids it adds character, but they are seeing through my deception........and by the look on their faces, I need to raise my game now. I line the bottom of the cake tin...
