Can you not set your phone as a wifi hotspot and use its data connection for your PC? I sometimes do this if we lose internet.

I cook dinner at least twice a week!!!! No more casseroles for you then.

I have a ninja grill that cooks pretty much the same, you insert the probe into the meat and it tells you when to pull the meat out and rest it to be perfectly cooked.

It's not cheating, it's the future ;)

I did, it was in the slow cooker with my Meater thermometer, reporting the turkey's temp, etc back to my phone and watch, so I could monitor it while we were out and take it off heat when it was perfectly done!!! https://meater.com/
