Here is a guide on how to make Viennese whirls. Ingredients: 150g or 6oz Softened Butter 150g or 6oz Plain flour 40g or 1½oz Icing Sugar 1 Teaspoon Almond Essence Method: 1. Preheat Oven to 190°C/Gas Mark 5/375F 2. Whisk butter and sieved icing sugar together, then add the flour and essence and whisk until all are combined. 3. Spoon the mixture into a large piping bag that has been fitted with the nozzle of your choosing. 4. Pipe mixture into swirls on a greased baking tray. 5. Place in the middle of the oven and bake for approx 30 mins. 6. Once baked, remove from oven and place on a wire rack to cool. 7. Fill with cream and jam. 8. Devour! :D
