Here is the South Park cake that I made for my daughter's 19th birthday celebrations.
It's comprised of the following: a 6-inch Madeira cake filled with Chocolate Fudge Icing, stock syrup on the interior to prevent the cake from drying out and white icing fondant to cover the exterior.
I then decorated the cake with Lincoln and Emerald Green trees using my PME Christmas tree cutters and then made the mountains. Mixed white and black icing to make the stones. The South Park Toppers were pre-bought off Amazon but washed before placing on the cake. The candle was also purchased from Amazon.
My daughter did make a South Park sign out of icing, but it was too heavy and split, so we had to make do with the paper one we made instead.
Every year she has given me a brief of theme and design but this year because we were so busy she requested a cake with stars on it. That, however, was not an option, so I scoured my brain to work out what on earth I could make that was fitting for a nineteen-year-old! I didn't tell her the theme until I'd bought the toppers, and then she decided she wanted to take over the design and theme. So, after a few choice words, we finally came up with the above design between us.
My daughter paid tribute to Butters and made some edible apples in relation to his lu lu song. I didn't know this was a thing but the pop of red on the cake and the miniature apples just added to the overall design.
Needless to say, we were both pleased with the end cake and thoroughly enjoyed the celebrations!
