To make chocolate strawberries, you will need the following:-

Ingredients

1 Punnet of Strawberries (Washed under cold water and then dried using kitchen towel)
100 grams Milk Chocolate
50 grams White Chocolate
50 grams Plain chocolate

1. Break the 100 grams of Milk chocolate into a bowl.

2. Melt in the microwave in 30-second intervals until melted. (I melted mine for roughly 1 minute in total).

2144

3. Then stir it in the bowl using a spatula.

2145

4. Now take a strawberry by the stem and dip it halfway into the chocolate.

2146

5. Let the excess chocolate drip back into the bowl.

Tip: Leave part of the red strawberry exposed as they look more vibrant showing the richness of the strawberry.

2147

6. Now place on a sheet of baking paper that has a plate underneath.

2148

7. Continue this process until you have dipped all your strawberries and then place in the fridge to set the chocolate.

2149

2150

8. Now get another sheet of baking paper and place a wire rack on the top.

2152

9. Break up your white chocolate into a bowl and melt again in the microwave in 30-second intervals.

2151

10. Remove the set strawberries from the fridge and place on the wire rack.

2153

11. Take or make a small piping bag.

2154

12. Stir the melted white chocolate with a spatula and then scoop into the piping bag.

2155

2156

2157

2158

13. Once the bag is half full, fold the outer edges of the bag together as if to make a point and then bend the top over to seal it.

2159

14. Then snip a small amount of the end of the piping bag to allow the chocolate to run out.

2160

2161

15. Drizzle the chocolate over the strawberries.

2162

16. Place them back on a plate covered in baking sheet and put them in the fridge to set. If you wish to use just milk and white chocolate, then leave them in the fridge. If not continue to No 17.

Tip: White chocolate can be a little temperamental to work with as it does not have a high cocoa content. I had a little trouble with mine as it blocked my piping bag, so I didn't end up with a lovely drizzle effect that I had hoped for, therefore to resolve the issue I merely added some dark chocolate to add more of a drizzle to the strawberries. :D

17. As you can see the drizzle isn't perfect, so that's why I added the dark chocolate next.

2165

18. Break the dark chocolate into a small bowl and melt in the microwave in 30-second intervals.

2166

19. Place the set strawberries onto the wire rack and then place the melted dark chocolate into a piping bag as you did before.

2167

2168

20. Snip the end again and then drizzle over the strawberries.

2169

2170

2171

21. Once drizzled, place the strawberries back on a plate covered in baking sheet and leave to set in the fridge.

2172

22. They can be eaten as is or placed on top of chocolate cupcakes like so.
