Nicola led this month's meeting/workshop and chose Ermintrude the Cow. Now I know a cow isn't exactly Easter themed, but the crème egg is and making anything with a creme egg has to be fun right?

Nicola's Ermintrude is loosely based on the Magic Roundabout character through the years and depicts some of the different styles from the ever-evolving character. She's a lovely jolly character and was great fun to make.
Here's Nicola showing us step by step how to recreate her.

Here are the ladies enjoying the class! We have a wonderful mix of ages, abilities, and experience levels, but we all walk away with the same thing: great fun, new skills and a good chat.

Here are the results.

This is mine; I decided to change the colour of the tail as I wanted it to match the hair. Christine and I also got a little creative with some of the steps and devised a new way of doing the scarf around the neck. Instead of wrapping it around, we used a circle-cut shape to make it easier.

Overall, we had a fun afternoon, getting creative and making some Easter inspired treats.
Thanks Nicola!
