Candy melts (1 Viewer)

Hi,
Can anyone help please? I use candy melts to make my own chocolate covered sweets and filled chocolates, but I find that when melted it is rather thick.
How do I make it thinner, to coat without
a) changing the taste
b) loosing the ”crack” when you bit into it.
I would like to be able to pur the chocolate over the sweet or pipe fine lines.
thanks

@Tintagel For chocolate, I use Coconut Oil to thin it down and help to drizzle with it. You could also try Trex or Wilton does a product called EZ Thin, which is specifically used for thinning Candy Melts. You can buy it on Amazon.

Any of the above really, you'd have to try them out and see which one you prefer.
