I'm pleased to announce that the lovelies from the BSG North are hosting quite a few events over the next year, so I thought I would give you a sneak peek of what's coming up and where the events will be held.

Event: Northern Skills School
Venue: The Crooklands Hotel in Milnthorpe.
Description: Ann Parker will be showing/making one of her stunning floral displays and Debbie Cox will be creating a fabulous Easter Basket. This event is now fully booked.

Date: Saturday, 20 May 2023
Event: BSG England North One-Day Workshop
Time: 10 am – 4 pm
Venue: Chain Lane Community Hub, 60 Chain Lane, Knaresborough, N.Yorks. HG5 0AS.
Description: The topic will be Royal Icing Decoupage in honour of the amazing Nadene Hurst, who sadly passed away in September. This is a paper technique developed by Nadene to be done in royal icing and paved the way for a transformation of the sugar crafters' view of royal icing.

Event: Demonstration Day
Time: 10 am - 4 pm
Venue: Stockton on the Forest Village Hall, Sandy Lane, Stockton on the Forest YO32 9UR, on the outskirts of York.
Description: Ribana Cristescu will be showing/demonstrating palette knife painting and rice paper decorations. One demonstration will be in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Details: A buffet lunch will be provided in between. Tickets will be available from the beginning of December.

Event: BSG Sugarcraft and Cake Gala

Date: Saturday, 13 April 2024
Event: The England North Cake Decorating and Sugarcraft Show
Venue: Stockton on the Forest Village Hall, Sandy Lane, Stockton on the Forest YO32 9UR on the outskirts of York.
Description: There will be demonstrations, mini workshops, branch and individual competitions and much more. The date has been confirmed with our BSG judges, and a competition schedule is being put together. Further details will be available over the coming months.
