Problems with moist chocolate cake. (1 Viewer)

I have a question. Can you help?
I was making chocolate moist cake.. But the result turned out to be like jelly... huhuhuhuhu.. what could be the reason behind the problem?

Hi Alliz,

There may be a few reasons why your cake hasn't turned out correctly.
  1. Firstly ensure that the oven was at the correct temperature for baking. To double-check this always use an additional oven thermometer.
  2. Bake your cake in the centre of the oven.
  3. Make sure you baked the cake in a tin and not a glass bowl as this can cause heat transfer problems and give you a jelly bottom to your cake.
  4. Leavening agents or lack thereof can cause issues with your cake.
  5. There may be too much liquid in the mix.
