Can I use hot chocolate mix as a substitute for cocoa powder?

Hi Lisa

No hot chocolate mix should not be used as a substitute for cocoa powder. The reason being hot chocolate or drinking chocolate mix has additional ingredients such as sugars and powdered milk which may have an adverse effect on your cake.

Thank you, I will buy cocoa powder now as I've only got hot choc mix in but I wasn't sure whether to use it.
