Chocolate Cake and Torte Class - Worsley College (1 Viewer)

You will be taught tips and techniques on how to create a sumptuous chocolate torte. Once baked, you can relax for five minutes whilst learning how to make simple sugar paste models or decorations to finalise your design. Be rest assured you will take home a beautiful cake at the end of the evening.

Students are required to bring in the following items:

CHOCOLATE TORTE: -
Base

75g/3oz Icing sugar
115g/41/2oz Butter – softened
200g/8oz Plain flour
25g/1oz Cocoa
1 egg

Filling
500ml/Pint whipping or double cream – heat
300g Milk Choc
25g/1oz butter
1 sheet Leaf Gelatin

Top
200ml Double Cream
25g/1oz butter
125/5oz Dark choc

250g Icing/Fondant

Decorations – Optional – Fingers/Rossini Curls & Fruit
