I haven't been baking but here's a treat for everyone

graham crackers and spray cream
spray on a Cracker cover it with another cracker
and put in the freezer.
Sort of homemade ice cream sandwich 😊

Do you wrap it before putting it in the freezer or does it just go straight in? It's a great idea, though.

@A Guy, yeah I don't think it would be a great idea trying to retrieve things from the interstate. Okay, you'll have to enlighten me on what varmints are? Have you ever had to report anything?

We have deers at the back quite a lot, and they run through the roads and woods nearby. A baby one shot out from the woods a few years ago when we were driving and just missed us by inches. I stopped the car the other day to let a squirrel pass. 😊

The only things really that are roadkill around us are badgers, foxes, squirrels and there are occasional cats and dogs, it's badgers mainly though that get killed around here.

I've never seen a real one nor have I ever seen one as roadkill either.

We're having chicken for tea tonight.

Hope you enjoyed your chicken, we had sausage and chips, John had a pot of beans with his.

John has seen a few dead badgers, they are protected so whoever hits them has to report it.

Some what boring day. Found out that I wont be serving on a jury.
Called in Friday and the recording said jurors 1 thru 350 (I was 560)
were to show . Called back Monday and today and got the message
that all jurors were excused .
I don't qualify for for the total exemption because I'm not 70 or in firmed enough.
or have a qualified disease (measles , Mumps and Tuberculosis are
the only ones listed)
My disability , Arthritis , wont get excused 😊

I hope it doesn't have to cross the road to be there!

I had Jury Duty last Friday as well. Was sitting the the jury chairs to be questioned by the lawyers. One of the questions they have you answer is what your occupation is. I said I'm currently unemployed...supposed to start a new job Monday. The Judge asked if that was going to be a problem, I made an I don't know gesture. She then asked if I had been able to get a hold of my new employer to be, I said I had not. She looked at the two lawyers and said "Any objections?". They both said no, we won't hold him, so I was excused, lol.

The 1st time I served on a jury The Judge called my name ( last name) and pronounced correctly.
(Golden-shoe) When I stood up , He said that he was expecting my Mother who has served on several
juries in his court.
Well my stint on the jury lasted all of 15 minutes before a mistrial was declared and I was free
to go.

Crikey, how many times do you guys get called to do jury duty? 😲

I hope it doesn't have to cross the road to be there!

Lol! Not that I know of, but I didn't eat mine in the end, John enjoyed his though. I think it was firecracker chicken this time; he's trying to taste all the varieties from the farm.

I've just tried out the pork chops; I don't know why but every time I make them they're spot on, or they're dry, so we've just done a pre-run, so when I do them for tea I can sort all the timings out.

I'm currently unemployed...supposed to start a new job Monday.

So what's the new job then?

I've never been called for jury duty and never will be now, I've got a good let out clause, over 70 and don't travel. 😂

My hubby was called for several years ago but he got out of it, at the time he didn't drive and public transport wouldn't have got him to the court at the right time and they classed it too expensive for him to have to travel by taxi. He's never been called again and as he is over 70 now that's it, even though he does drive now.

Well, it's supposed to be a random sampling from the voter registration.
But my Mother served 4 times in one year.

Oh my word, I'd cry! That is a lot of responsibility, did she enjoy it?

That's sod's law for you. Have you ever been called Joan?

I got called when Han was young, the guy who phoned was very accommodating as I explained I couldn't juggle work a young child and the service all at one time.

Now to today's problems! I'm currently banging my head on the table as we speak! I keep posting stuff to the site, and for some reason, it will show the pictures on an iPhone, but I use Android, and the images won't show. John's just done some research for me and discovered that Word Press doesn't like it when I alter my picture sizes. Needless to say, if I want them to show on Android, then I'm going to have to re-do all the pictures again! 😭 I've just done them all again for today's tutorial so tomorrow's job will be to go through all my posts and re-do everything that doesn't show. This about sums me up now! 😂

My Mother loved Jury duty, which is why they probably kept calling her, they knew for
certain she'd be there. She was sorry when they gave her a permanent excuse.
But she was in the hospital at the time (sugar level through the roof) and over 70.

I haven't Angie, I'd posted just above Thomas to say that and the reason why. :D

🤣 Oh dear you are in a state aren't you? 😂 At least it'll keep you out of mischief sorting them out. 🤣

Once you serve, or are not needed, it's 1 year before they can call on you again. I have been called multiple times. Now I automatically take the 6 months extension they let you take. Then when they send the notice, I hope I am not needed the night before.

My new job, was going to be delivering Amazon packages, but after training Monday and Tuesday, today I rode along with a driver. After a couple of hours it was obvious they put unreasonable expectations on them. They are asked to deliver 250-300 packages in 9 hours, with 1 hour for loading/offboarding at end of day.

When I 1st spoke to someone at the company it was "over 100 packages", but I figured if some where multiple packages to the same location, doable. Next person says over 150 packages, etc. Training guy says up to 300 packages, you need to deliver about 25 an hours, some people finish early.

It seemed undoable, but figured I'd ride along and see how it went. I started at 7:45, and was done at 7:30 and I am sore, lol. The soreness I can get over, but the constant barrage of packages...not so much. So I told them thanks for the opportunity. My ride along deliverer Kaneshia was very nice, and completely straight with me. Many of the rules we are supposed to follow don't get followed since the job is so unreasonable. I don't know if all the Amazon delivery companies are that bad, but while I might make a go of it if I had to have the money, I gave it a hard pass, lol.

So I'm unemployed again...AND sore, lol

P.S. Has John tried the Boneless Chicken?

There are several companies over here that deliver Amazon packages. I have read reports of some of the harsh conditions there are supposed to be within the company, among the many drivers that deliver to me from Amazon there have been none that have really complained but if they did it would be about the company they worked for which is not actually Amazon.

Glad to see you managed to find the farm so John could get his boneless chicken. 🤣

Got a video call from Shelly , The 5 year old told me about how she was helping
Mom make squishy cakes: A layer of jello which has set, then a layer of jam and
then another layer of jello .(I have never gotten it right).
The highlight was Tigger the cat was on his post (Back of the couch where he
can see out the front window) Heard Shelly's voice and came running thinking
hid playmate was back. He pawed at the screen and exchanged smiles and such.
It was just so cute.

That cake sounds like a good sugar rush. 😂

Cats can be funny some of the things they get up to, who's his playmate?
