Aww, bless you, but I'm with you Joan if I don't do it then it doesn't get done. 
Dare I say it we had to put the heating on today because the weather has been so bloomin miserable.
I've been working through my Instagram feed and then I've been sorting out the pictures and vids from my phone. It's been such a mind-numbing task I've been losing the will to live. I'm also trying to stick them in folders that I'll be able to find in the future because, for such an organised person, my filing skills on my pc is shocking. Han's even offered to sort my desktop out, but I won't let her near anything.
Off to make some tea in a minute.

I'm not a brilliantly organised person but I know where everything is. There isn't that much on my desktop but there are a few shortcuts I could probably do without on it. My taskbar is full and where I go for most of the programs I use most.
It's my download and documents folders that need the clean up as they have a real mix up of stuff in them even photos.
I know what you mean about the heating, so far I've managed to hold off putting the temperature up too high even though today I've felt like it, what with the rain, wind and lack of sunshine there is a definite nip in the air.

Well after trying to organise my photos etc we ended up deleting my desktop because it was showing on another device, so I've had to put it all back on and start again! The desktop is now looking a lot better, and I've just put one or two folders together and grouped lots of items in there that way fingers crossed I should be able to find stuff that I hold for later.
I think I'm an information hoarder!
I've also had to pick up my plant/trees that were lining my back patio area because they had blown over, I wouldn't mind, but I put them against the fence so they would be safe. The wind is howling today, and the rain is light but no heating as of yet. I think I'll try and hold off with that because the house was boiling last night when I went to bed. You can't win!
Ok I'm confused, are you having a moment Bill? Is it a photo pun and you're pretty much running on empty? Or are you happy with your car.....ooh no I've got it 103°F is that it? Answers on a postcard, please.

Yes finally managed it with Johns help, well help or hindrance whichever way you want to look at it. 
He didn't come in to help till I'd stripped the bed and got the clean pillowcases on and started on the duvet cover, I'm afraid his idea of fitting the bottom sheet left a lot to be desired, thank goodness he was on his side of the bed while I was on my side.
When I mentioned it he did say he knew he was rubbish.

You can understand why we talk about the weather so much, it is so unpredictable from one day to the next. After a couple of days of terrible rain and strong winds today the sun is shining and it's just a bit breezy, it is still on the cooler side though, not what I'd call summer weather temperatures.

I live between a bay and an ocean. Not only does the weather change day to day, drive 10 minutes and it's different. I drive from my Moms up north it's 93. Going across the Golden Gate Bridge going home it's foggy and 58°. get home and it's mid 80's. It was 103° a couple of days ago, 74° and windy today. I sure understand, lol

That's a bit like here Bill, I live on the East coast of South West Wales and we seem to have our own climate a lot of the time here.
The forecast for South Wales will be predicted as one way and we'll be completely the opposite, it makes for interesting planning for people who want to travel to the area for holidays etc.

Lol, yes, indeed, we often converse about the weather because we are never happy with it, it's either too hot (very rarely), too cold or always raining. I remember on the school runs with Han I'd have my winter outfits on in the morning and by the afternoon we'd be on summer dresses it drove me mad.
Unlike you guys, we don't have sprawling views, the view from the back garden is lovely so I don't mind that. The front is now coming together, the flags are down, the grass area is now mapped out, and we're just waiting on more deliveries of flags before the last section can be completed. We moved tonnes of stuff yesterday, and the weather (see I mentioned it again) stayed nice, so that helped. We're now trying to source flags for the strip beside the garage, and then the grass will be on its way.
Han and I have been going down memory lane today through all her past birthday cakes, we did really well and then got stuck on her 12th one for about half an hour, and I couldn't check the site because we had no internet. We're trying to come up with a theme for this year, but unfortunately, we are drawing a blank.
She has also done her chores today too; I need to mark it down here on the calendar so that I remember that she's done them.

Sounds like you've been busy, as the saying goes, make hay while the sun shines.
Has Han had cakes with her hobby themes? What about now that she is growing up, she's had driving lessons and I expect school is more demanding now, any ideas there like what she wants to be when she leaves school etc.
That's all I can think of at the present so it probably wasn't much help, it's been a long time since I've had to think about birthday cakes.
