Do you have one of those Angie? I got a musical Santa yesterday, it was a freebie because I bought some stuff from the site, it plays Christmas songs, and it did move. His head moved about, and his arms went up but then ground to a halt with a grinding noise, the music kept playing though.
The arms are back in the original position but it will only play the tunes now, that's OK though.
I have a White Bear sat in a present that sings, I've just tried looking on the net for a vid but cannot find one. If I get five mins, I'll try and record it for you.
This is my Santa and Reindeer, the reindeer is for outside, but nothing goes outside. I love him, he's like Santa's little helper, and Santa can do with all the help he can get at the minute!
I went to the post office late on this afternoon ...BIG MISTAKE! The queue (line) was like a mile long and didn't seem to be going down at all. So after the lady in front of me admitted defeat she said she'd go to Asda instead I then got chatting with the lady in front of me and the two ladies behind me.
The lady ahead had been there once this morning but abandoned the idea because the line was out the door and the ladies behind me were also attempting to 'try again'. We ended up chatting to pass the boredom and were trying to suss out how much money the guy at the counter was paying in and where he'd got his cash from. (He'd been in there about 20 minutes and they were still counting)! We ranged from bank robbery funds, having a secret 8-year stash under the bed or it was hot off the press, and he was still making it. The next lady in line had a Mary Poppins bag and just kept pulling parcels out and don't get me started on the poor lady at the end who was keying in a billion Christmas cards to their destinations. I was wondering if I'd have enough time left in the car park before my time expired!
I then came up with the idea of having an express till person so that those people with one item (me ha ha) could go and get served straight away which would then reduce the line much quicker. Some other ladies at the back of the queue had given up waiting, went to the front of the queue and then left their cards on the counter for posting. To be fair though I don't blame them because I'd been in there half an hour!
I've started to be a bit more productive too, I went through the accounts this morning and got a few things sorted with that. I've managed to get rid of a few post-its on my desk and I'm working through all the jobs that I have in my head still to sort so we are getting there slowly but surely.

I take it you got to the front eventually? I just leave anything that wants posting on the work surface by the door and the postie takes them for me, anything else John goes to the convenience store in the next village as that has a sub post office. We have to go there if we need to pay any checks or cash into our bank account as we don't have a branch anywhere near to us.

Yeah, I only had one item to post but it was recorded so I had to wait, apparently, the post box was full outside too so people were also waiting in queue just to post cards.

I've got lots to post on here when I get a minute and I'm also trying to sort through my baking gear finally after moving, everything has been boxed up so when I need to find something I have to go through about 15 boxes before I find what I'm looking for and that's if I manage to find it. I bought some storage baskets yesterday so I'm going through all my stuff and trying to put all my moulds and impression mats etc in one place so that I can find them. That and trying to work through the accounts and the umpteen post-it notes on my desk!

At the moment I'm also responsible for any post that is for next door, they leave it with me and I re-direct it to where she is at the moment. Not looking forward to the next few months though as she is going to have to sell it as she won't be able to live here on her own again.

Yeah, I finally managed to post about jar sterilization and potting jars after John put me back on the old script. I tried the new one, couldn't find half my stuff and now it wants to upgrade again and I've not even started on the cupboard!

So are all the decorations done? I spoke to a lady the other day and she told me she has a few small Christmas trees around the house and then just covers them over and pops them away until next year when she removes the bag and has a fully decorated tree again. I think she has the right idea, saves so much faffing!

Yes I've put out as much as I'm going to, well the only that's missing is the big main tree and I can't stand about putting that up and decorating it so I've just got a small optic one instead. I sent a picture to Kelly to say just because I didn't have the big tree out it didn't mean I couldn't have the special ornaments out. That's the little plastic Santa, an Origami stocking and the disc from the grandchildren that Kelly gave me last year.
Ooh, honestly it's driving me bonkers so I've given up on it today. My cake friend Jules has told me to get on it for ages but I've no idea what I'm doing and it takes me 3 attempts to post a picture! I've admitted defeat and may now start to post 1 picture a day. I want to post a picture of my book on there but at this rate, I'll have finished the next one before I even manage to post it.
