Thank you Angie, I'll head over there, just hope Kelly doesn't see it as I've not told her I already have it for her.

It downloaded straight to my Kindle Fire and I like the layout, so far it shows one tip per page but I'm not sure if that's to do with the size of the Kindle I have, which is a 7", whether it would show more if it was a bigger screen I don't know but it looks really good and the fire I'm using is not my HD one. :D

Yes, when I created the Kindle version I set it up as 1 per page for a better viewing experience. I'm glad you like it. Currently, I've had 20 downloads in the states and 15 here....

Update had a few more in Australia now.

Wow! that's brilliant Angie, now you need to get the sales multiplying so they outstrip the free versions and get some money back. Did you do a time-limited offer or another type of promotion?

I know it's fabulous that it's spidering out and about around the world. I had quite a few more downloads again in the States, another handful in Australia and more in the UK.

We put the post on fb and John boosted it for me to include Ireland, the USA and Australia. I found it a bit bizarre that we had to add Scotland and Ireland to the post when I assumed we would be umbrellaed under the same roof but apparently not, so I think a few lovely ladies over there have managed to bag a copy too. :)

At the minute it's less about the sales and more about getting it out there to the world and getting people talking about it and reviewing it, of course, I want it to be a massive success. All the feedback that I'm getting is that everybody loves it so I'm hoping if I can start rippling it across the world it will find where it needs to go and then eventually all the sales will follow. Either that or I made a few people's day by giving them a free copy. It's out there now so it's going to do what it is going to do, I'm just trying to get it to as many people as I can.

We have looked at a few different promotions on Amazon but we changed it to this one which was for 4 days from Thursday until tomorrow. There are also other ones where they do a countdown so I may look at doing one of those in the future.

At the minute I'm building interest in my book, teaching people and gauging their feedback once I've sorted all this then I'll start on book No 2. Although if this becomes an overnight success I may want to crack on with the next one pretty sharpish. :D

It sounds as if it's getting around OK so far so I hope it all works out as you want it to. What is the next one going to be, or is it another tips book?

Thanks, Joan. :)

I was originally going to do another tip book because I wrote lots of extra stuff down when I did this one, however, I fancy a change so I plan on doing something different.

For the next one(s) (there is a theme hence the plural tone :D) I've decided they will be centred around baking so it'll be more of a follow on from the first but will be more hands-on/interactive for the reader. I've got a rough plan drawn out and bounced some ideas with Jules so once I get a minute I'll start working on it.
