This is our last-minute attempt at Halloween seeing as we only managed to get the last pumpkin in the store yesterday!

Here's Han hard at work carving, bless her she said we could share the pumpkin because I didn't have one. I would have done, but I bought the last two in the store yesterday, we were then stopped by a Dad and his daughter looking for a last-minute one, so rather than let her go without I gave her mine. They were really made up. :)

Han's a dab hand at carving and decided on doing it freehand. She loves pulling the insides of the pumpkin out for some reason. :p This year she made a friendly one which I think is really cute. She put scars and everything all over it to make it a little more Zombiesque. :D

Here's my Blue Peter one....here's one I prepared earlier! : tears of joy:: tears of joy:: tears of joy:

Here they are lit up together...I do love the expression on the pumpkin!

Here's Han's lit up on its own. My pretend tea light didn't work very well, and I've no idea where I put the proper ones, so I used a birthday candle to light Han's with.

She's now out trick or treating with her friends and has gone as a character from Riverdale. She's excited because I've sprayed her hair red....I've also spent the last half an hour steaming my bathroom floor to get it off! :dizzy: Well as long as she has a good night that's all that matters.

Enjoy yours, stay safe and Happy Halloween! 👻👻👻

Those are great, I love the expression on Hans pumpkin face. Kelly went out with the kids to do trick and treat and just as they were nearly home the heavens opened and it chucked it down, it did here and knocked the signal out for the telly just as Masterchef started grrrrrrrrrrr

I was already annoyed as I'd just gone to check out the state of an order and it said it was to be delivered today then above that line timed at
18.57 it said delivery was attempted wait 24 hrs with tomorrows date showing. Another grrrrrrrrrrrr there was no attempt made here that's for sure he obviously didn't want to get out the vehicle and get wet.

Mine was a ceramic one from out of the cupboard,:lmao: but I love Han's, the face is really sweet. It was the same here, as I took Han out the heavens opened. I gave her a brolly to keep her dry. She didn't get as many sweets as last year so I'm thinking they didn't go out as long as they normally do.

Oh no! No signal, that's rubbish did you manage to sort it in the end? Aww bless you, what is it with you and deliveries/collections, you don't have luck, do you! :scream:

I know, they've got no excuse now though as we have the name of the house on the wall, trouble is when you live in a small village on the coastal road and all the properties have names it can be difficult, the road doesn't even have a name it's just the road number.

At least when you live in a town or city the addresses are easier to find when you just have to find a name or number on such and such road or street.

Got the signal back just missed the beginning so at first I didn't know what the challenge was but soon picked up the jist of it. That's the trouble with heavy rain when it comes from a certain direction it hits the dish and knocks the signal out while it lasts and it was a series of cloudbursts we got .

My friends new home is like that, she doesn't have a number she has a house name, so when I was trying to Google her address I couldn't work out which house it was. The road she lives on is a country road too so there are houses dotted all over. In the end, she stood at the bottom of her driveway on the phone and met me there. :D

Wowsers it's been a long time since I heard of anybody losing signal due to bad weather. I'd be chomping at the bit, I get all cranky when my PC takes longer than normal to boot up. :lmao:

Luckily it doesn't happen that often but it's when the wind is blowing from the coast and it's raining heavily.

Just Google Earth Jameston, Pembrokeshire and the name stops over my place, I've just tried it then went down to street view, it's an older view because it's got the sign on the fence from when we were up for sale, you can even see the shadow of the Google camera car. :D

Yes that's the other side of the road to our left Bill, it's sort of on its own little island you might say as the main road has a branch going off and around it to join back up again. You can't see the bungalow that we share the drive with from the road as it's hidden by greenery and slightly tucked to one side at the back of us.

Are you behind the bus stop? Lol, just Googling you now, I've seen the pub but reversed back a bit and can see a house and a for sale sign behind the green bus stop. Is that you then Joan?

Yes that's me, the place is built sideways on so what is the front door is the opposite side to the driveway and the first door you come to is the door into the kitchen at the other cable end.

The bungalow at the back of me is the same but that one is smaller than mine and only has 3 bedrooms and the tiniest kitchen. I reckon they were built like that so they could get 2 onto the plot of land as they were only built as holiday lets which is why they didn't have double glazing or central heating.

We lived here for 10 years before it got the double glazing and the following year central heating, the boiler had its annual servicing yesterday and I've ordered my oil to take me over the winter.
