Well I've set it all up, just got to connect this laptop to it but that will have to wait till tomorrow.

Night night all. :sleepy:

Another busy day, nurse this morning then the plumber who put new taps on the kitchen sink a mountain of washing and drying, meals to cook and eat and so not had time to get this laptop connected to the new printer, who made the day go so fast. :scream:

Fourwinds, southwinds I think.....Gone with the wind! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Aww bless you, you do make me giggle, that cheered me right up! We're still waiting for some of our deliveries today, we've had a few already but I've just ordered another mesh sheet for my chips and then realised we couldn't have chips for tea because he isn't here yet.

Please tell me now Joan that all printers are correct and accounted for, you're all set up and raring to go?

I still trying to get into the swing of things albeit slowly. My abscess in my mouth has now gone down some and I'm just finishing off the antibiotics. I took your advice and had some down days and currently had to cancel all visits with everyone I know so I'm bored out of my brain whilst trying to get better! I'm hoping that next month will be wonderful and all systems go.

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Glad to hear you're on the mend Angie. :)

Funnily enough I should have had a delivery today but it didn't turn up, but it wasn't a Prime one and it wasn't a printer, it was a pack of bog rolls.:lmao:

All printers are printing, got my laptop connected this morning via Wi-Fi, just have to pay for this replacement now.:scream:

Hope your tooth is better soon Angie. I'm sure John must entertain you? :D

Thanks Bill, yes John and Han are tormenting me in equal measure I think they're doing it to speed up the healing process for me, so I don't get used to having any downtime. :eyeroll:

The deliveries arrived albeit not in time for tea but they're here and my chip things are in a pack of two so if I break one at least I have a spare.

Are you bulking up on loo rolls Joan? :lmao:

You should know by now how I love to have plenty of backup. :lmao:

At least you got the marbled shortbread noticed just checked out 4 entries for it here. :lmao:

Ha ha no that's just me with the food shots! :sunglasses:

We've done a full update on the site over the past two days, and the marbled shortbread had been sat in my reserves for a few months, so it had created multiple threads for some reason. I think it's because I kept re-dating it. I've removed them now. :)

We're still playing around with the site because some of the functions and the bridge between the forum and the blog aren't fully up and running yet, but it's getting there. I'm hoping to get a new skin sometime this year too when the new upgrades have been ironed out.

At the minute I'm just trying to get more colourful bakes done because the blog section looks a bit bland and I need to inject some colour into it. I managed to do the jam shortcakes yesterday, so that's added a little red to it for now at least anyway.

Thank you, they're really nice and melt in the mouth quite literally, a definite hit with my lot anyway.

So today it was a...

School's closed, an inch of snow, and everything grinds to a halt! Luckily for us, we had already prepared for this (other than Han being off school).

I've still been quite productive today though. I got some accounts done this morning, then we paid the taxman, I've baked a cake, watched a movie and then I'm going to prep later for tonight's tea. Luckily John bought in extra meat supplies from the local butcher so I can still make tonight's tea which is Beef Stir Fry with Noodles in Teriyaki Sauce and we've got some Gammon for tomorrow so if we're still stuck in at least we shall be able to eat.

What's it like near you Joan? I'm not even asking Bill because he'll just be sunning himself. :lmao::lmao:

It's cold here but the suns been out most of the day, I thought we'd had snow in the night looking at next doors roof but it was just thick frost. I know there's been snow on the higher ground around us but luckily so far it's not hit us and I hope it doesn't. Sorry but I'm past the age of enjoying snow on the ground I think more of the dangers it can bring. :worried:

It was 68° here :) It was more than 100° cooler in the coldest place in the US! They have some deadly cold in places

The kids love the snow, but I tend to avoid it at all costs. It's thawed today so the kids are back in school and things have gone back to normal for the minute. It's still very cold but the sun's out so hopefully the rays will get a little brighter and melt all the rest of it.

Crikey @A Guy 100° Cooler in some places, we moan at the temperature dropping down to 0. My friend bless her has just returned from New York and she said it was minus 15 there! ❄

I'm glad one of us is enjoying some sunshine though, go bask in it Bill and send us some hot pics. 🔥
