You'll be pleased to know that for 2022 McVitie's are back on the biscuit trail again, only this time with a delectable share bag! Blissfuls, as they are called, will be available in your local Sainsbury's in two wonderful flavours and then from other retailers towards the end of January/February. Having just watched the trailer, I'm even more intrigued about where he gets his inspiration and interested to see what he can't make out of chocolate! The guy is a chocolate genius! So if you'd like to get your chocolate fix, then be sure to check out episode one of School of Chocolate, which will be airing in both the UK and USA on Friday, 26 November. It's been a while since I've managed to get anywhere near anything that's remotely cake-related! However, I finally managed to get out and about over the weekend and had the pleasure of meeting Debbie Cox, who was hosting a demonstration on wafer flowers. As I've never used wafer paper before, it was interesting to see how easy it was to use and what you can actually make with it. I even discovered you can fry it! Debbie has a lovely sense of humour and was really kind in answering all my questions. She also displayed some other stunning sugarcraft designs she'd created and then told me how some of the old school cake toppers were made with card. I explained that I liked the train topper as it was something I'd never seen before and...

I recently came across the Wu Pao-Chun Bakery by accident from a picture one of our long term members posted. It was a humorous post showing bread buns framed in a lifted T-shirt and Jeans packet. Having never seen anything like it before, I went on a little bit of a hunt to find out more about this humorous baker and came across a story that intrigued me. You see, the master behind the curtain who is pretty much an Olympian in his field is actually allergic to flour! So I ask myself, why would a guy who reacts to flour and turns red each time he touches it continue to have such a love affair with baking and churn out some of the most delectable treats you may have seen? In answer to this question, I discovered that Wu Pao-Chun came...
