Here is a recent West Highland Terrier with a ball that I made out of icing. I used Renshaws white icing for the body, Poppy red icing for the collar and Jet Black icing for the eyes and nose. I used some spare pink icing I had for the slither of pink for the inset in the Westies mouth, and then I mixed the red white and a little pre-dyed (using baby blue sugar flair dye) icing to form the multi-coloured ball. I then used a tiny tipped embossing ball tool and a veiner to make the fur marks and paw indentations. Creative Corner Tutorials Easy Cupcake Toppers
These flower cupcakes are very easy to make and can be a great last-minute gift for someone. I made chocolate cupcakes and topped them with chocolate fudge icing. For the flowers, I used gerbera/sunflower cutters for the large flower, daisy cutters for the centre and then finished them off with a silver pearl ball or silver dragees as they are also known as. They are quite effective and relatively quick and easy to make. Creative Corner Tutorials Easy Cupcake Toppers
These are the recent alien monster cupcake toppers that I have made. The sugarflair concentrated dyes I used to make the colours are as follows: Ice and Baby Blue, Grape, Melon, Tangerine and Party Green. The red, white and black are Poppy Red, Black and White Decor Icing by Renshaws. All you need to recreate these monster treats are: Circular, square and oval plunge cutters, a PME wheel, black pearls and a little imagination, the results are simply endless. You could try these with the children and see what monster mayhem you all come up with. Tutorials Easy Cupcake Toppers Creative Corner

These were the cupcakes I made and donated to a recent Macmillan Coffee Evening that I attended. The cupcakes are chocolate in flavour with a chocolate fudge frosting and finished off with an edible white, yellow or green rose. The green roses were made in traditional Macmillan colours, and the white and yellow ones were made to complement the colour scheme. Tutorials Easy Cupcake Toppers Creative Corner

Here are some fun Father's Day Cupcakes that I made for my Dad. I made the faces using a Round Smiley Face Cookie Cutter, paprika coloured icing for the face (ivory is also a great alternative for skin colour), poppy red Renshaws icing for the mouth insert and then writing icing pens and some grey icing to make the hair colours and moustaches. You will notice that I haven't put ears onto the faces, this was deliberate as they looked liked earrings and spoiled the look. Tutorials Easy Cupcake Toppers Creative Corner
