I made the topper as a favour to Linda, here is her finished cake with the topper on it. The baby is made from dyed icing/fondant using paprika flesh colour, the leaves are party green-dyed white icing, and the pink flower is claret in colour. All dyes are sugarflair, and the Silicon flowerpot was purchased from Lakeland (These are the 5cm (2") dia). I used a leaf cutter for the leaves and a plunge blossom cutter for the flower.

Novelty Panda Cupcakes are perfect for a party or great to make with the kids. All you need is a few rolled and then flattened circles for the eyes. Cut a circle in half for the ears and use a straw to make the indent on the mouth. Do the pupils in different directions to add character to your Panda.

Fun cupcakes to make and decorate with the children on a rainy day. Make a batch of cupcakes of your choice. Make a batch of chocolate buttercream. Use Cadbury's buttons and Milky Bar Buttons for the feathers for the owl, do this by cutting them in half and placing in the middle of the cupcake and work down. Use 2 choc buttons for the eyes and cut buttons into quarters to make the ears. Use icing fondant, or chocolate chips roll some balls for the pupils.

Soft pastel coloured cupcakes, decorated in royal icing using different piping techniques. In the centre we have used brushed piping techniques on the flower design, we have also used stencils for the outer patterned cupcakes, and the remaining cupcakes were freehand designs. The dome effect was created by resting the icing on dome balls and using hardener in the icing so that the icing set into shape. The domes were then stuck to the cupcakes using buttercream.
